Reflection 2

After submitting my site to a sytycd fan site. I Actually tippled the number of views my page had before. I find it very interesting that our speakers advice actually worked very well. It maybe because my approach to creating this site was intended to help other fans to know more about the contests and choreographers from past shows and many people like myself would actually find that information very useful. I actually plan on maybe submitting to more fan sites so that my page views could actually increase more than what it has in the last week or so. I suspect that my views may at least double this time considering they tippled last time I submitted it to another site.

Reflection 1

As a class, we were all required to start a blog and create two post that would be displayed on the log, one being persuasive and the other being informative. At first the topic I choose I didnt really know how to make my post persuasive then I realized that I was talking about a show and people on that show so I came to the conclusion that I could just make people or tell  people to watch the show. Although they may seem like an easy answer to come by, it took me a few hours to realize. Call like lack of sleep or writers blog, but either way I did it.

I really love that fact that our blogs can be about anything we are interested in. This makes me WANT to actually log on to my blog to update it every few minutes. I am a person very passionate about dance. If you were to meet me in person and have a conversation with me nine out of ten times something within the first ten minutes will be about or pertaining to dance.

I had a blog before this one but it was something my friends and did as merely a way to communicate to each other. We would use it to tell each other things that we were to afraid to say to each others face or to worried what the other person may think. With these assignments I thought about the purpose for whih blogs exist or at least why I think they exist. Sitting behind a computer gives a person more heart or shall we say more guts to say what it is they need to say. I feel as though that is the purpose for blogs. To say whatever you feel without the added pressure of saying it aloud and someone standing in front of you. The art of blogging can be fun and productive but also it can be corruptible and diabolic.
